Beyond the Barriers
Barriers to my life had been closed for centuries
Once, I opened the barriers and explored:
" I saw two orchids amid weeds
And some sunflowers too
Some dandelions were in the path
Some tulips sprang up somewhere
A few ancient oak trees were guarding them
And at last, I saw a red, red rose
It looks splendiferous to me."
My perplexed mind didn't dare to touch the rose
Despite, my desire didn't care about my dare
Thorns made me bleed
I went back to where I belong
And shut the Barriers forever
When I look behind,
The rose is still there.
Its petals are fading slowly
Though the desire is still burning,
I should stay beyond barriers.
Because I may bleed again.....
